End of an era

The church on Market street had its last service on the 25th Dec 2022, after almost 120 years of continuous service.

This was not an easy decision and the church has many memories for many in Castle Donington and beyond, however the increased costs and reduced attendance meant the building was no longer sustainable.

However, Methodism still lives on in Castle Donington with regular services being held at the Lighthouse Community Church
